Avoid cracks and other areas that may catch the Draggin’ Tail, the unit is designed to fail to protect the board and rider, but this is not a feature you want to use.
These are a handmade product, and may have slight irregularities in finish, or slight marks/discoloration - these are a normal part of the manufacturing process, as is the often slight warping that occurs in these due to the heat of welding - they will flex easily as you install them, and will sit tight against your board without trouble.

Please read ALL Safety Warnings before installation and use of this product.
Install by removing the two bottom screws at the rear of the board, attach the Draggin’ Tail using included screws, install directly on the board, or over your existing metal or plastic plates. Please ensure that you tighten the screws well, but be careful to not overtighten - these go into brass inserts that are set in plastic, so be firm, but don’t go crazy.
You can easily remove the device any time you are in an area where it may be unsafe to use by simply removing the two screws, and replacing them with the original screws.

Do not use this product in or near gas stations, dry vegetation, or in proximity to anything else that may catch on fire or otherwise be damaged by this product. This product is for use only outdoors on smooth flat surfaces. Please remain at least 50ft from flammable objects, and do not use during periods of high winds. Do not use in areas that are under wildfire warnings, or otherwise offroad/on trails, the product is easily removed, please do so and be responsible. Use only in a controlled environment, and under close adult supervision.
The first few stops can be a little tricky to get the feel for this - start slow, and please don’t feel the need to tail drag to a full stop from high speed, while that is admittedly fun, and produces a crazy amount of fire, there’s no need - just a light tap at lower speeds will make plenty of sparks while you practice your ability to do emergency stops and tail drags. Do not use this product while moving backwards, or while riding in the opposite direction, it is meant for use only in a dragging manner on the rear plate.
This product may produce slight sharp edges where it is being ground against surfaces, please watch for these, and remove as needed (material is soft aluminum - you can even cut it with a knife if needed). This product should NEVER be used where there are cracks or other surface imperfections that can catch the unit - as this may damage both the unit and your Onewheel.
Check your bolts often for tightness across the entire board, due to the nature of this product’s use environment - there will be a lot of vibration that may loosen bolts, best to catch it early.
